I find it unethical and detrimental to the weight loss community and against the mission of the site. It makes this place unsafe and lacking the general courtesy of communication.
Well, IĀ surrendered walking as an exercise. I have funny z-coil shoes with springs instead of heels which, according to my doctor, absorb 50% of shock that my feet get when I walk. I am still in pain though…

I’d like to get in touch with people who bike because I really need support. BikingĀ is a new activity for me. I use a recumbent bike in the basement. The plan is to get brave enough and learn how to turn on a real bike. Because I can ride a bike if it’s going straight but I fall immediately if I have to turn.
I biked 14 miles on the recumbent bike yesterday. It took me 43 minutes. I don’t know if it’s enough for a recumbent bike? I don’t know anything about biking. How many miles are good, what is mediocre, what is stellar? In addition, I don’t really like biking but I have to learn to love it because this is the only cardio exercise that I can do.
Anyway, for now I would like to start a thread on biking on the weight loss forum. My personal goal is to bike at least 14 miles a day, starting today. Please join me or just stop by on the biking thread. Share your experience, support, advice, or funny biking jokes.
